PPS has inherent moderate wear resistance, which can be greatly enhanced by adding anti‑abrasion additives. Combined with its self‑lubricating property, PPS is suitable for oil‑free lubrication applications.

Main Uses Widely used for mechanical components requiring wear resistance and self‑lubrication, such as bearings, gears, sliding parts and sealing rings. In the automotive industry, it is applied to rotating parts and sealing elements within fuel pumps, oil pumps and water pumps.
